Website analytics
We measure page visits and a small set of service, consultation and enquiry interactions so we can improve the website. Analytics events do not include names, contact details, message text or form values. Browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals are respected.
What we ask you not to send
Please never include passwords, API keys, private keys, production database credentials or confidential source code in a web form. If an engagement requires sensitive material, we will agree a secure channel in writing first.
How we use and protect your data
Submissions are transmitted over TLS and stored in an access-restricted database. Only Nincol staff who need it can read your request. Information is used to respond, assess fit, deliver agreed work, maintain operational records and meet applicable obligations. It is not sold or used for unrelated marketing.
Service providers
Hosting, database, email delivery and privacy-conscious analytics providers may process limited information on Nincol's behalf when those services are configured. They receive only what is needed to provide the service. Engagement-specific third parties are discussed before information is shared.
Retention
Nincol has not adopted one universal retention period for every record. Retention depends on whether the information is an unanswered enquiry, an active engagement record, or material that must be kept for operational or legal reasons. Records are reviewed and deleted or anonymised when they are no longer needed.
Cookies and local storage
The site stores your theme preference locally. Nincol does not use that preference to identify you. Analytics may be provided by the configured hosting or analytics provider, and browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals are respected.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact us and we will respond. Requests can be sent to info@nincol.com. Nincol processes personal data in Kenya and takes account of the Data Protection Act and guidance issued by the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner. These statements do not guarantee a particular legal outcome.
